Allied Waste Services has signed an agreement with the County to provide exclusive waste disposal and recycling services to the residents of La Crescenta.
NEW RATE As of July 1, 2011, the new rate for basic service is $29.82 per month or $89.46 per quarter. The discounted senior rate is $22.37 per month or $67.10 per quarter. This accounts for changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Producer Price Index (PPI), and solid waste disposal tipping fees. These rates were calculated in accordance with the terms of the franchise and was reviewed and verified by the County to ensure the adjustment is justified. As part of the new service, each household received one black yard waste container, one brown refuse container, and one blue recycling container. If you need more containers for either recyclables or green waste, you may receive one of each at no additional cost, upon request.
