NEW COMMERCIAL TRASH COLLECTION FRANCHISE TO BEGIN JULY 1 The County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors awarded a seven year non-exclusive commercial solid waste franchise agreement to qualified waste haulers to provide commercial waste collection services. Beginning July 1, 2012, all unincorporated County residents and businesses that utilize dumpster/roll-off trash collection service, such as commercial and multifamily properties, will begin to receive new and improved trash collection service.
